Yesterday was the first day of school. We had the whole day to register and I chose to register in the afternoon as I expected the morning to be crowded. I was right. I met up 2 classmates in school and registration was a breeze and it was over in an hour or so. Another classmate told us that he heard of a student and her father arriving for registration at 3am. They had thought accomodations on campus were on a first come first serve basis. Little did they know that acommodations were allocated on a completely random basis and true enough, the student was not allocated accomodations. Guess which country they were from... You guessed it! They were from Singapore. Too bad they cannot write to an MP to appeal...HAHAHA
Can you spot the irony in the following pictures?
The goverment advises the people to take the buses and the people responds positively, too positively. How do you take the bus when every bus is packed like a can of sardines? I got onto one and nearly suffocated. Imagine 100 people (literally) in a bendy bus! I gave up in the end and stopped somewhere close to my house. I walked the rest of the way, about the distance between Yishun and Sembawang. Surefire way of losing weight!
I will be going for outdoor training organised by the school this afternoon and will only be back tomorrow evening. I hope the training does not require anything with strenuous. Don't wanna lose my beer tummy that I have been working on for so long.
